Jump 12: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Part Final: Goodnight Morioh-Cho

They gave me a year’s reprieve from any further harassment, starting from the beginning of the summer of 1999. I used the time to solidify my place in Morioh as a well-known trumpet player, and garner the funds to leave the hotel and have a place to myself. The peace was well deserved as far as I was concerned, and helped me be at ease when it came time to say farewell to Jotaro and Joseph. Okuyasu didn’t stop pestering me about how I got Kira to go into custody. He eventually remembered my challenge and wanted to fight. I used the chance to goad Josuke and Koichi into helping Okuyasu.

The Hand’s power we definitely something I hadn’t experienced before, combined with Echoes Act III increasing the gravity on me and Crazy Diamond’s speed and power outclassed Star Platinum’s. They made a good trio, and I gave them some time to feel like they had a better chance before I ended it. It was a fun fight, and I treated them to a meal as a sort of consolation prize. The rest of the year was spent performing, occasionally hanging out with the others and visiting my companions. It was a nice time.

Once that time had passed, I was in for a surprise. The girl had discovered another bow and arrow in the home of Yoshikage Kira and not only granted Sigmein and Django Stands, but gave herself and Deamond new abilities. It made me wonder why I hadn’t thought to experiment with it myself. Sigmein’s Stand, I Can See Clearly Now, nearly gave her precognition over a certain radius. Django’s Stand, Rage Against the Machine, caused everyone around him to experience intense rage and desire to fight. Deamond’s Poker Face could now also turn him invisible, on top of whatever it did before. The girl… I don’t know what she gained, but whatever it was she used it on the other three to great success. Every encounter from then on brought me closer and closer to defeat. I could never truly think straight because of Django, Sigmein knew what I would do before the thought finished processing in my mind and gave orders accordingly, and Deamond was nigh impossible to keep track of.

Their teamwork had dramatically improved, and for some reason none of them were ever effected by Rage Against the Machine’s ability. It was a struggle to hold back with my mind clouded by anger and the three of them adapting to anything I did. The only saving grace I had was the fact that the girl didn’t get involved. She was always present though, with a calmness that I hadn’t seen from her before. It was extremely disconcerting when I wasn’t fighting off anger. I was losing the battle of hiding my magic and struggling to find another way to fend them off when it hit me. Literally. The arrow struck me while I was sleeping, and I changed accordingly. Crush 40 gained the What I’m Made Of, allowing it to further change the area effected by Dangerous Ground in various ways, but only temporarily. Causing the ground to be covered in ice, or a street to become a grassland. While I never explored the full extent of the ability because I didn’t want to cause more damage to Morioh than necessary, it made the difference in the end.

I’d expand more upon what happened, but I feel like I’ve forgotten something for a while. I want to continue on to remember what it was exactly. Besides having to deal with the four, my time here was very enjoyable for all it was. While certainly… bizarre, I wouldn’t mind going through it again.

  1. Wow, Django, way to copy the worst Stand dad ever came across. I'm so disappointed in this guy.
