“I’m
still upset that he left us all here to be confined to the warehouse for ten
years. He hasn’t done that in forever.”
“You
know he doesn’t like taking us places where we don’t benefit the same way he
does.”
“This
place doesn’t even seem all that special. We could have learned plenty in ten
years on our own.”
“Be
that as it may Alice, we should probably take a look at what the instructions
he left for us.”
“Yeah,
I want to see what one of these magical letters look like too.”
“Then I’ll
open it.”
Leo opened the letter and an image
of King appeared on top of the paper and began to speak.
“Hello everyone. This is a bit
strange to do, but I trust you all can handle the tasks I have for you. The
first order of business is that you all obtain proper housing. Whenever you’re
ready Jump-chan will take you through the process. After you all get
acclimated, I want you to handle making an arena. I trust that you all will
make excellent choices in my stead. While you won’t be able to leave the house
for this jump, I’ll pay you all a visit when everything is done. Until we meet
again my friends.”
Leo closed the letter and set in
on a shelf in the warehouse.
“I
wonder how that works…”
“I
know right? It looks so cool. Alice, teach me how to do that.”
“Not a
chance bird brain. You’d never get it, even with ten years.”
“What?
Take that back you, you tsundere ghost!”
“Tsundere?
Me? I thought birds were supposed to have keen eyes, but if that’s what you see
maybe there’s more wrong than just your brain functions.”
“Alright,
that’s enough you two.”
“Alice
don’t you think that was too mean? You should apologize.”
“Hmph.”
“Sora you
should too. You know Alice hates it when her feelings are brought up.”
The two of them eventually grumbled
some form of apology at each other and Karen was satisfied.
“Great.
Now that that’s settled, let’s get started on housing.”

see… it seems we get a number of things free thanks to some of the warehouse
add-ons King got before.”
“Really?

seems like the type of bedrooms we get are the first decision. I’m fine with a simple
bedroom myself.”

“While
having a room above simple seems fine, why the royal one?”
“If
our leader is a “king”, then we’re no less than royalty. As such, I at least
need to be treated like a queen.”
“I don’t
think we’re talking her out of it. Guess we have 800 points left then.”

think we need to ask about the bathroom. Alice will probably try and freeze us
if we don’t go with royal.”

go wrong with a dining room right? Families are supposed to eat together after

“Why
wouldn’t we be mama bear? A mother should have only the finest if she’s cooking
for her children.”
“I am nobody’s

“I

Alice and Karen got something they wanted I want an Entertainment Center and
stuff to go with it.”
“Guess
someone really didn’t change that much from last jump.”
“We’ll
see who didn’t change when I kick your butt at Melty Blood again.”

“Well
if we’re each going to get something I want movies and music for that
entertainment center.”
“That’s
a great idea. We can have movie nights every Monday. Someone mark it down.”

“We’ve
used 825CP now. I don’t like that number… Rooms with a view are only 25. Let’s
get those to even it out.”

we each have our own rooms, it’s only appropriate that we get to alter them to

“So what
do we do with these last 100CP?”
“Well
there’s infinite closets, a maintenance crew of robots, and a trophy room.”
“There’s
no need to stroke King’s ego, so the Trophy room’s out.”
“Do
any of us even need the closet? I don’t think the warehouse will be running out
of space anytime soon, now that we can store our own things in personal rooms.”
“I don’t
think any of us wanted to clean anyway.”

“Oh, I
just realized something. We don’t need the housing in the warehouse anymore.”
“You’re
right. How about we trade it for a workshop and food supply? King shouldn’t
mind.”
“It
looks like we get an engineering bay now because of it.”
