Writing For every major event has
become a tiring thing. Perhaps one day I’ll
recount the other 3 adventures I had, but for now here are the highlights. While a series of tournaments was going on a
new criminal organization called Nebula was spreading Dark Chips around. Luckily I can’t even use Battle Chips because
while they grant the users immense power they eat at a Navi’s very soul. A soul I very much wanted to keep pure. There was also something to do with a meteor
that was coming to destroy the world that was actually being controlled by a
space Navi with incredible powers that planned to destroy the planet because of
the damned dark chips. But Lan and MegaMan stopped him and changed the trajectory
due to the power of everyone’s support or something.
I started a war with Nebula after
learning about what dark chips did to a Navi but the end result was not what I
expected. They ended up with enough data
on me to make a clone. And not just any
clone, but a dark clone. He gained an absurd amount of power through dark chip
usage and went berserk. Nebula lost
control of him and he sought me out to take my place in the world. Whenever I encountered him it always ended in
one of us retreating. His dark chip dependency
was his greatest strength and weakness. He
was a thorn in my side for the rest of my time here until I finally managed to
defeat him.
Nebula wasn’t completely defeated however,
and managed to cause even more trouble for everyone. They kept making dark chips, so my clone
could always find some when he was low.
I assisted the team of Navi that gathered to liberate the net from their
grasp and helped MegaMan and Lan defeat Nebula once and for all. My clone couldn’t be found after their destruction
and I wondered what he’d do now that he’d eventually run out of Dark Chips.
I chose to focus on gaining power
for the inevitable rematch with my dark counterpart. I discovered that I could access an ability
called the Navi Cross. I essentially
fuse with a friendly Navi and gain abilities similar to their own. I gained the Heat, Slash, Erase, Aqua, and
Tengu crosses during my journey. These
proved to be the edge I needed against my clone, as he decide that if he was
going to die from dark chip withdrawal, he’d take me out with him. The entire UnderNet shook with the intensity
of our battle. The jerk even managed to
copy one of my navi crosses with his get ability program. I was left battered, bruised and barely
holding on to my data, but in the end I beat him. It took me a long time to recover
afterwards. I awoke in a SciLab computer
that belonged to Dr. Hikari. I had
sustained more damage than I thought.
While I was still recovering, Lan and MegaMan visited from time to time
and I was slowly caught up with the world.
It seemed had missed the last truly big threat to the world as they
recounted how they stopped WWW once again.
After I was better I finally had my
battle with MegaMan. In the end I
managed to make the battle a draw. I
surprised them with all the things I could do and the abilities I had taken as
my own, but they were never caught off guard for long. I’ll never forget the battle I had with
them. Feeling that this was the end I broke
up my organization. They were said to be
without a leader that would put them I the right path while letting them retain
what makes them the undesirables of society.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss leading them as well.
I spent my remaining time in the
world wandering the world’s net and challenging strong opponents. I even got to have a couple of battles with
Bass. He mellowed out a bit, but wanted
to remain hidden from the world last I saw him.
Can’t say I didn’t feel the same at that point. I merely became a legend of the net before
leaving for the next jump.
